Country competition, family fun, live music, food and good times, all in one big day at the Showground.

Tarago Village Fair

Make a day of it

The Tarago Village Fair brings together some of the best parts of country life for a full day at the Showground.

Watch shearers race the clock in the Quick Shear, see teams put their skills to the test in the Fencing Challenge, and cheer on some serious local rivalry in the Tug-of-War. There’ll also be family activities, horse demonstrations and plenty happening around the grounds.

Grab something to eat, visit the stalls, enjoy a drink at the bar, then find a spot on the grass and settle in for some live music.

Come to compete. Come to cheer someone on. Come with the family. Or just come for a good day out.
